Two
great packaging ranges
in one
To
simplify ordering
from the
Kingfoil and Confoil
product ranges, both
will soon be known
by the Confoil
brand name.
The
use of a
single name signals
a more streamlined
service for the
customers of both
businesses, says
Confoil CEO Kris
Srikanthan.
"In
effect, you can now
order product from
the ranges of two
major food packaging
makers with the convenience of streamlined ordering and paperwork
that comes with dealing
with a single supplier," he
said. "Aside from
that, whether you're
a Kingfoil or Confoil
customer, you won't
notice a lot of change."
At
a strategic
level, a united Confoil
and Kingfoil
brings greater
buying power and
better utilisation
of facilities, allowing
it to offer broader
product ranges, globally
competitive pricing
and enhanced services.
"The
cost of aluminium
has skyrocketed
over the last two
years to record
highs and, at Confoil,
we've worked hard
to find new efficiencies
so that we
can insulate our
customers from price
rises as much as
possible," Kris
said.
"Of
course, spiralling raw materials costs affect all aluminium
products manufacturers
but we're not complacent
about overseas
producers eyeing
off the Australian market. We must continue to show you,
our customers,
that buying Australian
won't hurt the
bottom line and
that you can count
on the ongoing
flexibility, quick
turnarounds and
responsiveness
that only strong
local packaging
