Confoil has been a proudly Australian owned and operated family business for over 50 years, and our ties to the community in which we operate are strong. To us, healthy employees, a healthy environment and healthy communities are all interrelated and vital to our collective sustainable future. Confoil actively support a broad range of not for profit organisations who’s values are aligned with our own. Causes that are of particular importance to us are tackling waste issues and sustainability, food insecurity in our community and beyond, environmental protection, mental wellbeing, cancer education and research, and human rights.
Ozharvest Feast - An in school program
Halving Food Waste by 2030
FEAST is a year 5 and 6 curriculum aligned program, inspiring kids to eat healthy, waste less and become change-makers in their local community. Confoil is a proud official supporter of the FEAST education initiative, sponsoring the facilitation of this wonderful program within 3 primary schools in VIC, NSW and QLD.

Fight Food Waste
OzHarvest
OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, collecting quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivering it directly to more than 1300 charities supporting people in need across the country. OzHarvest operates nationally, rescuing over 180 tonnes of food each week from over 3,500 food donors including supermarkets, hotels, airports, wholesalers, farmers, corporate events, catering companies, shopping centres, delis, cafes, restaurants, film and TV shoots and boardrooms. Confoil is extremely proud to support OzHarvest by providing donated food containers to their Cooking for a Cause events, as well as donating the time of our staff towards corporate volunteering days.
Most recently Confoil have committed to supporting FEAST. FEAST is a Year 5 and 6 food waste education program from OzHarvest. The program runs for 7-10 weeks and is a STEM project-based learning program focusing on food and fibre and the cross-curriculum priority of Sustainability.
OzHarvest is specifically focused on working towards halving food waste per capita by 2030. Working with their network of partners, food donors, volunteers, community organisations and using their voice to influence others and inspire action. The FEAST program is in-line with these broader goals, tackling the issue of food waste from the ground up.

Foothills Community Care
Providing Meals and a Place to Belong
Foothills Community Care provide meals, hospitality and a place to belong in the Dandenong Ranges and foothills area for those who are in need. Over the last year Foothills has served 7525 fresh meals, delivered 1103 frozen meals, and handed out over 3700 fresh food parcels. Confoil is proud to support the wonderful work that Foothills do in our local community and donate our food containers to their cause in order to assist.

Beyond Blue
Healthy workplaces and mental health go hand in hand, and it is something we want to talk about and remove stigma from. Beyond Blue aims to equip everyone in Australia with the knowledge and skills they need to protect their own mental health. Confoil are proud to support Beyond Blue by holding several fundraisers per year, as well as support their educational initiatives in our workplace.
Cancer Council
For many years Confoil has supported the amazing work of the Cancer Council through various fundraising activities throughout the year, including Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. We are passionate about supporting cancer research, with the Cancer Council being one of our staff selected charities.
R U OK? Day
R U OK? Day is a national day of action in September dedicated to reminding everyone to ask the question, “Are you OK?” and to remember every day of the year to support people who may be struggling with life’s ups and downs. Confoil is a proud fundraising supporter of R U Ok? Day as well as supporting their messages in our workplace.
Footy Colours Day
Every year, during the month of September Confoil host a staff fundraising event to support Footy Colours Day. Footy Colours Day raises much needed funds for Australian children who are battling cancer and was created by the Fight Cancer Foundation who began their not for profit organization in 1995.
Men's Health Week
Each June, Confoil participates in Men’s Health Week. An educational initiative that aims to shine a light on the particular health issues unique to men and boys in our communities and raise the profile of men’s health. It encourages greater self-awareness, a priority on health and early detection of disease, overall wellbeing and open.
Cakes For Cancer
Every year at Christmas time, Melbourne local Joanna combines her passion for baking with her passion for fundraising, baking the most incredible Christmas cakes with 100% of profits going to the Cancer Council. Confoil is proud to support Joanna and the Cancer Council through donating our festive Panettone baking moulds.
