For any high-end food business, product presentation is of paramount importance. This is certainly the case for Kawungan Quality Meats in Queensland’s Hervey Bay, which in addition to its booming retail business supplies local restaurants, cafes and sporting clubs, and six months ago supplemented its streetfront premises with an online store. Readymade single serve meals including cottage pies, potato bakes and quiches are all available to order from its website, along with ten-packs of chicken kebabs, a selection of honey soy chicken wings and so on.
It’s imperative for repeat business that these products reach customers in the same attractive condition as when they were prepared in store. For that reason, Kawungan Quality Meats manager Dale Newberry wasn’t prepared to compromise on the quality of his product packaging.
